The Pilates for Youth Certificate Course
Is a 21 hour, 3-day course, covering the physiological, developmental, cognitive, and environmental needs and considerations of Youth in Pilates and Wellness.
Day 1 : Pilates for Children (early and middle childhood and early adolescence) includes physiology, pedagogy, peripherals, and practice for ages 5 – 12.
Day 2: Pilates for Teens (adolescents) includes physiology, pedagogy, peripherals, and practice for ages 13 – 18 and Special Populations.
Day 3: How to develop and implement programs, liability, safety, waivers, how to perform outreach.
(Peripherals here include wellness aspects for lifestyle choices including nutrition, meditation, lifestyle management, anatomy/body awareness)
